EMPOWERING QUESTIONS are powerful catalysts that shift your focus: ==>> from negative thoughts to positive ones ==>> from the uncontrollable to the controllable ==>> from "don't wants" to "do wants" ==>> from problems to solutions ==>> from stuckness to momentum ==>> from fear to empowerment

The quality (and quantity) of your business success also depends on the quality of your questions." Not just any questions, but EMPOWERING QUESTIONS.

How do you know if you are asking empowering questions? Check your reactions, your focus and your wording.

EMPOWERING QUESTIONS: Provoke positive emotions ... redirect your focus on solutions or desired outcomes ... ask "how", "what", or "who". E.g., "What must I do to double my income in 3 months?".

DISEMPOWERING QUESTIONS: Provoke negative reactions, like fear ... keep you enmeshed in the problem ... often ask "why" questions . E.g., "Why are my revenues dropping?"

To ask empowering questions for your own business, let's say your greatest perceived challenge ("excuse") is that " you don't have money to grow your business". Empowering questions might include:

*** "What positive outcomes are happening right now in my business? How can I leverage these to get to the next level?

*** "What traits or strategies have attributed to my past success? How can I apply them to my current situation?"

*** "Who are my greatest role models in business? How would they handle my challenge?"

*** "How can I reallocate my revenues (or minimize costs) to free up $$'s for growth?"

Simple, obvious, powerful ... yet so many business owners forget to use this mindshift tool when they most need it.

********************************************* COACH'S ACTION ITEM: What is the greatest challenge in your business right now? Write down at least 10 empowering questions - preferably each one on a separate 3"x5" index card. Focus on *one* question per day. Spend 15 minutes each morning jotting down ideas on the other side of the card. Ask every business associate you come in contact for their ideas as well. ************************************************
